Feed
I have tried all kinds of pellet feeds from the cheapest to some of the most expensive. I now feed Manna-Pro Gro, it is an 18% protein feed that is specially formulated for lactating does and their litters. They eat much less of this feed and they grow out a lot faster. Taking those two facts into consideration you come out with the same amount of money invested if not less by the time you butcher your rabbits as you would with the cheaper feed. I have also noticed that does being fed Manna-Pro Gro actually have a lot more milk witch means they can raise more kits and keep their weight on during kindling witch allows you to rebreed her sooner. Other than pellets they get free choice Timothy hay at all times.
